Hyderabad Marriott lined up a gathering to celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday.
The celebration offered the best of fun, food and family time for all mothers, who took a break, relaxed and enjoyed their day.The hotel bustled with activities throughout the day, when children iced the cakes for their mothers and made colourful cards and drawings.The lobby lounge wore a festive look with customised gift hampers that every child could show their love for their mothers. Fun games, a live band and DJ along the poolside, along with interactive games for the mothers and children made the day more memorable for them.
Rekha Lahoti, a fashion designer was touched when her son Harsh and daughter Supriya iced a cake saying ‘I love you mom.’ “Motherhood is a wonderful gift provided by God. My daughter and son are the most valuable assets of my life. I am so lucky to have them.”
The presence of Tollywood actress Priya Anand added to the day. “Unfortunately I am not with my mother today but the whole experience of coming to Marriott and celebrating this day was wonderful. Although I am missing my mother but the sight of a lot of other mothers and their children having a blast, is soothing and I am having a great time.” Okra, the culinary theatre at Hyderabad Marriott, served its largest brunch with home made ravioli, spaghetti, grilled salmon, leg of ham, and roasted vegetables along with a special Indian brunch menu for the mothers.
A special service “cook for mom” was organised where Marriott’s chefs assisted the their children in preparing their mother’s favourite delicacies and giving them a fantastic experience.
